FAQ

Who is eligible for or should consider utilizing family coaching?

Family coaching is applicable for anyone who is a caregiver – parents, co-parents, foster parents, single parents, and grandparents.

Do you offer a consultation before I sign up for coaching?

Yes, I offer all new clients a 15-minute free consultation to explain the program and answer any questions prior to beginning family coaching.

What does a coaching session look like?

When you sign up for coaching we will conduct four one hour sessions to work through the parent coaching framework. We will meet once per week or once every other week depending on what works best for your family. After each session, parents will have the opportunity to practice at home before adding another topic. We will discuss practical strategies, behavior scenarios, and problem solve together.

  • Session 1 – Foundation – “You are safe with me”
  • Session 2 – Connect – “You are loved no matter what”
  • Session 3 – Coach – “You are called and capable”
  • Session 4 – Correct – “You are responsible for your actions”

What do I need to bring to my coaching session?

You don’t need to bring anything with you to your coaching session but you will need to complete the parent questionnaire and email it back to me prior to your first session.

Who should attend the session?

These coaching sessions are designed to equip parents and therefore children do not attend these meetings.

Where do the coaching sessions take place?

You can have a coaching session in-person at my office in Zephyrhills, Florida, via Zoom, or other arrangements can be made for a meeting place that works best for your schedule.

How much do sessions cost and do you take insurance?

Sessions cost $75.00/hour and I do not take insurance. Appointments may be paid for via Cash, Check, Credit Card, Venmo, or Zelle.
